I'm proud of myself. :) I finished Claire's order (It took ages - I'm just waiting for info to put it up on her site), I pretty much finished Michele's order (that took a long time for some reason), Ashley's was quick, and I've just got to start on AnMarie's. I don't know why everything's been so time consuming. Anyway, only... 12 more to go once these are all done. happy

Power was Out

So on the 14th there was a massive storm here (expected due to monsoon) but it kind of wiped half the city of power including where I live and any traffic lights, stores, houses, etc surrounding. It also meant no air con! Sooo hot! Anyway, instead of going into everything that happened and bore you I'll just tell you that the power's all good now and I'm back online. happy
Finally I can work on the orders that have been building up. You can see if your order was received by checking out the side bar on my page. I will also update the sotm and cotm pages when all of those are done. Oh and please vote for SD at portrait topsites! happy

I updated the pending list and will work hard to get all of them done asap. I'm sorry for not updating it earlier, because it meant people could easily have thought they could be done this week when I in reality already had 5 orders in my inbox. I may be able to get them all done before Sunday though, we'll see how school goes. :)

I've been trying really hard to get as much homework done in advance as possible so I have more time without worry over school. :) This is one of my bits of time so I'm going to rap up this quick update and get to work on Claire's order.

So my page is open again. I'm working on Claire's order, though it's late so I'll finish it tomorrow. I should also be able to do Ashley's tomorrow. I have 8 available premades at the moment so check those out, all uncoded and customizable. I need to make some more precoded ones, I've cleared all those out for now. Note my new system for orders. To keep me from getting stressed or anything over orders, whether I get more or less, I'm saying now that I'll only do five a week. This means if I do get extra time after being done with orders I can fix up the main site or make a new premade or something of the sort. I just think this will make it easier for me overall on the long run, and leaves me free enough to do those five reasonably quick (so you don't have to wait over a week). I currently have 2 more spots, and I'll have those orders done by Sunday at which time I'll start a new batch of orders (unless of course I don't get any, lol).

Anyway, I'm "hitting the hay" as they say which freakishly rhymed... haha, bye! happy

Make Life Harder for Hackers & Premades

I just saw this on this site I was looking at. I don't even know why, but for some reason I clicked on the link and saw the below message. It's a good message and reminds you of how the basic fundamentals, if forgotten, could be consequential. Oh and the entire message below I got directly from Manelitah.

I found out this morning that the reason why hackers could easily get into your account is by determining if you have activated a REMEMBER ME login option. This way, they can just get your IP address and use the remembered password and username that you have in your computer’s memory. So if you want your computer and login details to be safe, make sure you have deleted your cookies, form details, temporary internet files and uncheck all the “remember me” option of the websites that you go to especially if it includes your password.

To delete your cookies, temporary internet files and form logs:

1. Open your browser [Internet Explorer / any]
2. On top of your browser you will see the menu bar, click on TOOLS >> Internet Options >> Browsing History >> Delete >> and from there you can choose if you want to Delete All or just choose one.

This will really help you prevent hackers to get into your website. You also have to try and clean out your email inbox, drafts, spam folder, sent folder for any suspiscious email with letters and number in it because those would probably scripts of hacking stuff that would enable them to get into your account ANYTIME.

Make sure to log out your account from the sites that you are a member of like Myspace, Friendster, Facebook, cPanel, Webmail or anything. Because your login details can be tracked too if they are left unlogged out.

Those are just basics that I suggest you to do. If you want, you can post this topic to your blog to get other people to see how to beware of hackers.

On a side note I finished Monisha's order and am starting on Jennica's order. I really need new premades, I don't know who they should feature though. I was thinking Ashley Tisdale as I've gotten requests for her as well as Demi Lovato, she seems popular right now. Who else and how many should I make? I'd appreciate a comment on this update or on my cbox. Thanks!
